My name is Charles Wilson, and I am a 20-year resident of Historic Anacostia. My commitment to community engagement began right in my neighborhood, where I co-founded the Historic Anacostia Block Association to ensure residents had a strong voice in shaping our community's future. I have long been active in Democratic politics as a member of the Ward 8 Democrats and previously served three terms as an ANC Commissioner. Throughout my public service, my focus has been consistent: engaging neighbors and constituents, building consensus, and empowering residents to participate meaningfully in the decisions that affect their lives. I currently serve as Chair of the DC Democratic Party, working with residents across all eight wards to advance our shared values, including the ongoing fight for DC Statehood and greater political representation. My name is Patricia (Pat) Elwood, and my life's work is rooted in public service, effective government, and expanding opportunity for children, families, and communities. I began my career in education, serving as both a practitioner and advocate in regular, special, and early childhood education. From there, my path expanded into civic and government leadership. As Secretary of State of the District of Columbia and later Director of Protocol and International Affairs, I strengthened DC's global relationships. Today, I serve as a Special Assistant to a Councilmember, focusing on agency accountability, seniors, and quality-of-life issues for all DC residents. Monica Roaché is a proud Ward 2 resident, dedicated educator, and passionate advocate for public education, running for At-Large Committeewoman to help strengthen Democrats across the District. She has advised Congressional staff, senior federal executives, and state and local governments, giving her the insight to champion housing solutions that stabilize rents, strengthen homeownership opportunities, and protect public housing residents. I'm Dave Donaldson, your At-Large Committeeman, and I'm proud to be running for reelection. For 23 years, Ward 3 has been my home. For 20 of those years, I've had the honor of serving on the Ward 3 Democratic Committee. My focus has been clear: advancing Democratic values rooted in strong families and vibrant communities; strengthening our voice in the House and Senate; and continuing the fight for DC Statehood. I remain deeply committed to protecting programs that support residents with special needs, our veterans, and our seniors.

Stuart Anderson is running as an At-Large Committeeman for the DC Democratic Party. A proud product of the DC Public Schools system, University of the District of Columbia, and Georgetown University, he is deeply rooted in our city and committed to its future. Stuart is running on the Democrats United To Free DC slate because he believes DC's voices deserve to be heard on a national level. He has served as Ward 8 Committeeman, current 1st Vice President of the Ward 8 Dems, and represented the city as a Delegate at the 2024 Democratic National Convention, where he was proud to second the motion to officially add DC Statehood to the National platform. Stuart has dedicated his career to public safety, judicial reform, and transparency in government — founding the Returning Citizens constituent group and advising on local political campaigns. John C. Green is a longtime community advocate, public servant, and Democratic leader. A two-term elected Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner (ANC 1B), he worked closely with residents and city agencies on public safety and neighborhood priorities. Professionally, John leads the community engagement team at the DC Public Charter School Board, and previously served as Campaign Manager for Attorney General Karl A. Racine's re-election campaign. He holds a BA in Government and a Master's in Public Policy from George Mason University.

My name is James S. Bubar. I have been active in local Democratic politics for twenty-five years, first as a member of the Wards 3 and 4 Democrats and then as the elected Alternate National Committeeman to the Democratic National Committee. I co-lead our Democratic party's Statehood committee and work hard to preserve home rule and advance Statehood. As a three-time elected delegate to the national Democratic convention and twice elected to the national Democratic platform committee, I worked to include Statehood in the national Democratic party platform and establish Statehood as a core issue for Democrats. As an attorney and co-chair of the Bar's DC Affairs Community, I filed amicus briefs before the US Supreme Court for equal Congressional voting rights. I also supervise voter protection. I volunteered as a youth baseball commissioner and am currently coaching triathletes. I ask for your vote and support for the Democrats United to Free DC Slate.

John Fanning is a longtime Washington, DC resident and dedicated public servant running for Ward 2 Committeeman. He currently serves as Director of Constituent Services in Councilmember At-Large Anita Bonds' office and previously served as the Ward 2 Liaison in the Mayor's Office under four administrations. John's career in public service began in 1992 when he was elected to ANC 2C. In 2012, he was elected to ANC 2F and served as Chair from 2014 to 2021. He was elected again to the commission in 2024. John has also been selected as a Delegate to the Democratic National Convention from 2016 through 2024 and served two consecutive terms as Ward 2 Committeeman from 2018 to 2022. Ben Dalley is a lifelong Washington, DC resident and candidate for Ward 2 Committeeman. A community-focused leader, Ben has built a diverse career spanning business ownership, real estate, and nonprofit work. Meg Roggensack is a Ward 2 resident and candidate for Ward 2 Committeewoman. Meg served as Senior Advisor for Business and Human Rights at Human Rights First, leading initiatives on internet freedom, labor rights, natural resources, and security. Janice Ferebee, MSW, is a proud Ward 2 resident, community leader, and candidate for Ward 2 Committeewoman. A long-time Washington, DC resident of 35 years, Janice is a two-time elected official, having served previously as Ward 2 Committeewoman and Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner (2F08). She currently serves as President of The Cambridge Tenants' Association, Inc. A social worker by training with more than 40 years of leadership in nonprofit management, youth development, and women's empowerment, Janice is founder and Chief Woman Warrior of Ferebee Enterprises International, LLC, and creator of the Got It Goin' On® Empowerment Brand. She has made history as the first African American Models Editor at Seventeen Magazine, appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show, and received the ESSENCE Award. A two-time cancer survivor and proud 47-year member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.®, Janice is a passionate servant-leader dedicated to ensuring every resident has a voice.

Kurt Vorndran has lived in Ward 3 since his days as an undergraduate at American University. A long-serving member of the Ward 3 Democratic Committee, he has been involved in the DC self-determination movement since college. He is active in the Capital Stonewall Democrats, the Woman's National Democratic Club, and serves on the board of a local charity fighting homelessness. Professionally, Kurt works with the National Treasury Employees Union, fighting the Trump Administration's attacks on federal workers.

Michael Haresign is a Ward 3 resident and candidate for Ward 3 Committeeman. As the restaurant manager at BlueJack Brewery in the Navy Yard, Michael has spent years working on the frontlines of the hospitality industry, gaining firsthand insight into the challenges facing restaurant workers, small business owners, and service industry employees across the District. A passionate advocate for fair labor practices, workforce development, and economic opportunity, Michael uses his experience to amplify the voices of those often underrepresented in policy and civic decision-making. He is committed to ensuring that every worker in DC has a seat at the table when decisions about wages, working conditions, and public policy are made. Anita Beier has lived in Ward 3 for 17 years. She is a Ward 3 Democrats delegate and co-chairs the Ward 3 Democrats Transportation & Environment Task Force. Active with the Woman's National Democratic Club, she has served on its Executive Committee. She is a member of the Metropolitan Women's Democratic Club and is the Club's representative to the DC State Committee, and serves on the Executive Committee for the DC Federation of Democratic Women.

Dr. Antoine M. Kirby is a Ward 4 resident of Petworth and a dedicated educational professional running for reelection as Ward 4 Committeeman. With over 19 years of experience in teacher education and program management, Dr. Kirby has devoted his career to strengthening educational opportunities and supporting educators across the District. Dr. Kirby currently holds two elected positions: Ward 4 Committeeman on the Democratic State Committee and Commissioner for District 4C02. He has served as Chair of the Education Committee for the DC NAACP and as Chair of the Education Advisory Council for Ward 4 Councilmember Brandon Todd, contributing to the Infant/Toddler Advisory Group in partnership with UDC Community College. Michael Cohen is the Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner for Single Member District 4B07, encompassing parts of Takoma, Lamond, and Manor Park. A lifelong Washingtonian born in the District, Michael has lived in the DC metropolitan area his entire life, settling in Manor Park after years in Cleveland Park and Brightwood. Michael has a strong record of community leadership: he served as Chair of the ANC 4B Education and Libraries Committee, has been active on the ANC 4B Recreation and Community Safety Committees, and served as President of the Takoma-Brightwood Dog Park Organization, a DPR Park Partner and 501(c)(3). As Ward 4 Committeeman, Michael Cohen will bring his experience and dedication to representing residents' voices, strengthening community connections, and advocating for education, public safety, and recreation across Ward 4.

Melissa Irby is running to serve as Ward 4 Committeewoman. A lifelong supporter of the Party, Melissa's engagement began even before she could vote, volunteering in phone banking campaigns and learning the importance of grassroots political action. Since then, Melissa has become a dedicated and hands-on advocate for Democratic values. Neena Murphy-Martin is running for Ward 4 Committeewoman. A lifelong supporter of the Party, Neena has consistently demonstrated her commitment through active participation in party meetings, retreats, and national events, including the 2024 Democratic National Convention, where she helped delegates and non-delegates navigate Chicago. Neena holds a COR Level III certification in contract management, serves as a managing member of a nonprofit, and has extensive experience in organizational leadership. Timothy Thomas is running for Ward 5 Committeeman. A dedicated Ward 5 resident, Tim has spent over thirty years in public service with the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia, where he serves as a Case Manager Coordinator — independently planning and conducting comprehensive investigations to uncover fraud in child support cases. Tim is committed to representing the voices of his neighbors and ensuring that Ward 5 residents have meaningful participation in the Democratic Party. A graduate of Cheyney University with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science, Tim combines academic training with decades of hands-on experience. Harry Thomas, Jr. is a third-generation Washingtonian and dedicated public servant currently serving as Chairperson of the Ward 5 Democrats and as an Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner. A former Ward 5 Councilmember and past Chair of the DC Young Democrats, Harry has long been committed to strengthening communities through public safety, engagement, and opportunity. Harry attended DC Public Schools, graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School, earned a degree in Public Relations and Marketing from Bowie State University, and an associate degree in Theology from Titus Baptist Seminary. A certified financial planner, Life Skills Coach, and General Contractor partner, he is also a youth mentor and the founder of HLT Development, Inc., created in honor of his father, former Ward 5 Councilmember Harry L. Angel Alston Johnson is a proud Ward 5 native, born and raised in Washington, DC, with a lifelong commitment to serving the community that shaped her. Angel previously served as an ANC Commissioner in the Riggs Park community, where she worked side by side with neighbors to address public safety, neighborhood development, and critical quality-of-life issues. She believes strong communities are built through collaboration, transparency, and consistent, hands-on engagement. Angel is a dedicated officer of the Xi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated in Washington, D.C., where she advances service initiatives that uplift families and strengthen neighborhoods. Jimmie Williams is running for Ward 7 Committeeman. A longtime resident of Ward 7, Jimmie has devoted his career to advancing education, equity, and opportunity in Washington, DC. Since 2016, he has served as President and CEO of the Washington Literacy Center (WLC), leading one of the region's premier adult education and workforce development organizations. Before WLC, Jimmie built a distinguished career in public affairs and government relations, including senior roles at McDonald's Corporation and Freddie Mac. A committed civic leader, he serves as an Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner, Parliamentarian of the Ward 7 Education Council, and former President of the Penn Branch Community Association. Nationally, he serves on the Asian Pacific American Institute for Congressional Studies (APAICS) National Advisory Council. Victor Horton is running for Ward 7 Committeeman. Originally from Virginia, Victor has called Ward 7 home for nearly a decade. He was elected as a 7E Commissioner, serving as Treasurer throughout his tenure, and was the founding Chair of the Commission's Education Committee. A former DC educator and education policy advocate, Victor brings years of experience from Capitol Hill, nonprofit work, and community organizing. He currently serves as Program Director for Leaders of Color, DC, an education-focused nonprofit dedicated to improving outcomes for Black and Latino children — identifying, training, and elevating emerging leaders to create meaningful civic and political change across the District. With more than a decade of experience in education, she has supported students, families, and communities through special education, youth development, literacy advocacy, mentoring, and civic engagement. Her public service includes serving as an Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner, community association leader, election worker, coach, mentor, and volunteer across the District of Columbia.

Ashley Ruff is a proud Ward 7 resident, small business owner, and community leader running to serve as Ward 7 Committeewoman for the DC Democratic Party. She currently serves as ANC 7F02 Commissioner, where she has earned a reputation for accessible, responsive, and action-driven leadership that delivers real results for neighbors. A graduate of the University of the District of Columbia, Ashley holds an Associate of Arts in Fashion Merchandising and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management, along with certifications from Lawson State Community College. She is the founder of Vernell's Blend, a Ward 7 coffee shop and bookstore advancing food equity, literacy, and economic empowerment. Ashley's record of service includes DC Board of Elections Site Supervisor, Ward 7 Redistricting Committee Member, Ward 7 Community Organizer with Elect Ed, PAVE Parent Leader with DC PAVE, and Board Member of Friends of DC Streetcar. Kelly Mikel Williams is running for Ward 8 Committeeman. A dedicated public servant, advocate, and community leader, Kelly Mikel has spent more than 25 years serving the District of Columbia at every level of government — from the White House and a state legislature to the DC Council and his local Advisory Neighborhood Commission. Kelly Mikel's commitment to service is rooted in lived experience. He has been a renter, a homeowner, and has experienced homelessness. He has been a parent in DC public schools, a community volunteer, a churchgoer, and a taxpayer. These experiences shape his belief that public policy must reflect the real lives of the people it serves. As Ward 8 Committeeman, Kelly Mikel Williams will fight to ensure that every resident has a voice in the Democratic Party. Michael Watts is running for Ward 8 Committeeman. A dedicated public servant and community leader, Michael served as Associate Director at the DC Department of Employment Services (DOES), leading the Office of Wage-Hour, First Source, and Occupational Safety and Health. Under his leadership, the office recovered more than $23 million in owed wages for District workers. Previously, Michael served as Chief of Staff at the Department of Youth Rehabilitation Services, overseeing the formation of the New Beginnings Youth Development Center charter school, and as Assistant Director of the DOES Office of Youth Programs, managing the District's Youth Opportunity Grant. A former Phelps PTO President and national labor policy leader, Michael is committed to strengthening Ward 8 families, protecting workers' rights, and ensuring economic opportunity for all. As Committeeman, he will bring experience, integrity, and results-driven leadership to the DC Democratic Party.

Robin McKinney is running for Ward 8 Committeewoman. A lifelong Washingtonian, Robin's path to leadership is rooted in resilience, determination, and a deep love for her community. Having experienced homelessness, Robin understands firsthand the challenges many Ward 8 families face. Today, as a proud homeowner, she stands on a foundation built through perseverance and faith in a brighter future. Robin is committed to honoring the greatness and rich history of Anacostia while building pathways to opportunity and progress. She believes Ward 8 deserves leadership that reflects lived experience, listens to residents, and advocates fiercely for equity and inclusion. Regina Pixley is a proud native Washingtonian and lifelong Ward 8 resident running for Ward 8 Committeewoman with the DC Democratic Party. Born and raised in Southeast DC, Regina attended DC public schools and graduated from Coolidge Senior High School before pursuing nursing studies at the University of the District of Columbia, earning her LPN. Her career path later expanded to include earning a CDL and serving as a school bus driver for DC and Prince George's County Public Schools, followed by obtaining her Special Police Officer license. She currently works securing DC government buildings. Regina's life reflects resilience, faith, and service — a mother and proud grandmother of six, she is deeply committed to strengthening families and uplifting her community. She is the founder and CEO of Regina's Place, a faith-based nonprofit supporting families impacted by gun violence, suicide, and overdose. In 2014, community members encouraged Regina to run for ANC, and she successfully won two campaigns in one year. She has continued her service as Ward 8 Committeewoman, guided by her grandmother's wisdom: "If you're not at the table, then you're on the menu." Regina considers it an honor to serve and remains committed to advocating, empowering, and fighting for Ward 8 residents every day.
